Question by Shane: What is your opinion on using Hoodia (herb) as a weight loss drug?
I have a 2 month supply and am overweight. Should I use this stuff until I reach my goal weight?? Its supposed to curb hunger. Is it safe? Please let me know!

Even if its a herb, it could still be as toxic as any synthetic drug.
It acts on the central nervous system (CNS), tricking it to think that you’re full, so you don’t want to eat much. In other words you won’t even know that your body needs more energy, which is actually very dangerous. I would never recommend anyone to take a drug such as that.

Also as it acts on the brain in the same way as glucose, there is a possibility of affecting the glucose transporters, and worse insulin balance.
